Mystery is the guiding star of my practice. I interpret it as a sensation that swings between terror and surrender before the unknown: the violence of natural forces, the silence of the sacred, and the embodiment of a physical space. In my work, bodies are entities destined for metamorphosis. I create images where the barriers that separate individuals—humans, animals, plants—dissolve, giving rise to hybrid forms that shift between aberration and tenderness.

This formal exploration is nourished by underlying references to art history and literature, through which I reinterpret themes such as identity, spirituality, mythology, and the landscape, understood as a metaphysical and political space. This process of revision generates new readings and associations, opening the door to a personal fiction that simultaneously acts as a mirror of the world.

A recurring question in my work is the effect of the mystical on the body and how the intangible transforms matter. For this reason, the presence of ritual, magical objects, and sacred creatures is fundamental. These figures embody the transition between the secular and the divine, allowing me to imagine the interaction between the material and the spiritual, and to reflect on how invisible forces also shape the visible.
